Baer Art Center, Skagafjördur, Iceland (2025) My practice engages with the interwoven and often contradictory relationships between landscape, nature, and the urban, approached through personal experience to explore dynamics of absence and presence.
Working through abstraction, I explore states of visibility and concealment across different spatial and contextual conditions. I approach residency as a form of embodied exploration. By placing myself in a quiet and unfamiliar environment, my body and perception are recalibrated, opening up a more subtle and shifting poetic experience that unfolds between individuals, and between humans and the natural world.
